These people are awesome. They come highly recommended by us. We have had lots of previous patients contact us both prior to the surgery and after the surgery to tell us how great they thought Dr. Shahinian and his staff was also. We cannot say enough for or about them. The difference between a 10% chance of survival craniotomy and the in and out in less than 24 hours endoscopy that David had is tremendous.
If you have a skull base tumor, or know someone who does, that has been deemed 'inoperable', contact the Skull Base Institute. Let them look at your records and see if you are a candidate for surgery there. What have you got to lose? Many cases may remain inoperable. That is a horrible and unfortunate reality. But some may be operable. And those are the ones we want to reach.
